This exclusive program features comprehensive longitudinal biospecimen collection and multi-omic data generation tailored around our members' specific health goals and areas of interest. We are seeking a versatile researcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment to help scale this high-touch initiative.

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and exceptionally organized Research Scientist to serve as the project lead for the aldenINSIGHTS Bespoke program. In this role, you will bridge the gap between rigorous molecular biology experience and translational human health insights. You will design tailored discovery roadmaps, manage the end-to-end lifecycle of individualized member research projects, and iterate as new biological questions arise and new multi-omic data becomes available. This role requires a rare combination of wet lab literacy, translational scientific expertise, and world-class project management to deliver deeply personalized, data-driven health narratives directly to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bespoke Project Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of individualized member research programs, multitasking effectively to manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables for a growing roster of members.

  • Experimental & Multi-Omic Design: Plan comprehensive longitudinal biospecimen collection and tailored multi-omic measurement approaches (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.) centered on specific member health goals.

  • Translational Interpretation: Synthesize complex computational, statistical, and AI-generated analyses of multi-omic data, translating basic science knowledge into meaningful, actionable insights for human health and disease.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our bioinformatics and AI/ML teams to ensure predictive models and statistical analyses are biologically sound and clinically relevant.

  • Member Communication & Delivery: Distill dense, high-dimensional biological findings into clear, persuasive, and deeply empathetic personalized presentations and digital portal content for members and clinical partners.

Qualifications

  • Education: PhD in Molecular Biology, Biology, Human Health, or a related life science field.

  • Translational Background: Proven experience as a molecular biologist with a clear translational research or human health focus (a combination of a basic science PhD and a translational postdoc is highly valued).

  • Laboratory Expertise: A foundational wet lab background is strictly required (this is NOT a purely computational role); you must thoroughly understand the underlying biological mechanisms that drive health and disease states as well as the mechanics of multi-omic data generation.

  • Exceptional Organization & Project Management: Demonstrated ability to independently juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously, with a track record of strong organizational skills inside or outside the lab.

  • Health Literacy & Communication: A deep understanding of human pathophysiology combined with an exceptional ability to tell data-driven stories to diverse audiences, from AI engineers to clinical MDs and non-technical members.

  • Startup Mindset: A "startup soul"—proactive, adaptable, and eager to pivot and learn as new data, technologies, and member health goals emerge.
