Robert, 72, is a retired executive and is worried about Alzheimer’s given a family history of the disease. State of the art medicine – genetics, labs, imaging, and cognitive screens – indicates “no elevated risk.” When he learns from his physician that these approaches explain very little of Alzheimer’s risk, he turns to Alden Scientific.

The assessments and analyses used in this study are advanced research tools designed to support scientific discovery and are not currently FDA-approved or CLIA-certified. Consistent with the goals of human subjects research, participants may receive access to their individual research findings, which may be shared with healthcare professionals of theirchoosing. These findings represent research-based interpretations of biological data and are intended to advance understanding of human health and disease, rather than to provide medical diagnoses or clinical care.
